From Love Supreme Jazz Festival to a sunny Supreme Standards gig TBA soon (hold tight!),  it’s definitely the month to take a deep breath outdoors. Here’s some highlights for July. 
Polish Jazz London Series presents Niechęć

4 July

They’ve been described as a lovechild of Kamasi Washington and Sigur Ros. Inspired by Polish legends Tomasz Stańko and Krzysztof Komeda, they perform at St Mary’s Music Hall in Walthamstow. 

Love Supreme Jazz Festival is finally here

5-7 July

What we live for. Ms Lauryn Hill, The Cinematic Orchestra, GoGo Penguin and more gather for three days in the beautiful East Sussex countryside. There’s more talks, more DJs and more live music to see this year, in its seventh edition. Last few tickets left


Sons of Kemet play Somerset House

13 July

Given their relentless touring schedule, it’s a very special occasion when Sons of Kemet return back to the UK for a live show. The band feature as part of their Summer series.

Coming out via Leaf label, ‘More Arriving’ is the ambitious new album from percussionist Sarathy Korwar. Exploring Mumbai’s hip-hop scene with topics of migration, it’s a truly original record.
